GearBox - Ford Truck & SUV
Choices for Ford Trucks are very limited. To improve
steering performance requires installing a well-built
O.E. steering box and a Super Pump. The ultimate
performance power steering would be a Rock Ram System.
AGR offers premium remanufactured steering boxes to
replace the Ford type steering box. Steering boxes
manufactured by Ford Motor Co. were never used in any
performance or racing applications and no performance
and/or modified components were ever produced. A
scarcity of certain steering boxes prevents new
components from being available. AGR steering boxes are
manufactured with the highest quality new parts where
available using our proprietary modifications. All core
components are thoroughly inspected and reconditioned.
This is not your typical remanufactured steering box you
get at your local auto part store. This is POWER
steering! 66-77 Broncos (R&R only) used a Saginaw type
gear. AGR does offer a few ratio / spool valve options
for this application, but they are limited. All Ford
applications can be modified for the Rock Ram System (a
Super Pump must be adapted, see Ford Pumps). |

GearBox - GM & Dodge 12:1 Quick
Steer
Engineered for street performance. Features a 12.7:1
gear ratio, the fastest available, firm race car type
valving for precise handling and excellent road feel.
This is THE BOX for the enthusiast building a pro
touring ride or a short course racer. Total Bearing
Control ensures rock solid stability at the sector shaft
for those wide, low profile tires. |

GearBox - Hummer
The Hummer is factory equipped with the largest steering
box available from Saginaw. However, AGR does offer
three steering options using the Super Box that provides
enhanced handling and response. |

Pump - Ford Super Pump
The AGR Ford Super Pump develops 1500 psi and will flow
4 - GPM, a substantial increase over OEM specifications.
The AGR Ford Super Pump provides increased turning force
and improved steering reaction. The increased flow and
pressure also eliminates the loss of power assist when
braking on Hydro-Boost brake equipped vehicles. |

The factory Ford pump that AGR offers contains new
internal parts and is not the typical remanufactured
pump that you would find at your local auto parts store.
For additional performance consider stepping up to the
AGR Ford Super Pump. |

Pump - GM & Dodge PT Pump
The P-series pump is designed to provide increased flow
and pressure for 2WD light trucks and SUV's. The
increased flow provides for better response in quick
steering situations. |

Pump - Hummer
The Hummer is factory equipped with the 1500 psi power
streering pump as standard equipment. The AGR pump is
built to OEM specifications. |

Pump - Jeep TC Super Pump
Many late model Jeeps and other vehicles use the Saginaw
TC pump. This is a smaller pump than the P-series pump
and features a plastic or remote reservoir. AGR has
developed a modified version of this pump to provide the
necessary pressure and flow for the Super Boxes. |

ROCKRAM* - AGR
The ultimate in brute steering force for off-road
vehicles. Originally developed for competition
rockcrawlers, the ROCKRAM* system will improve the
off-road and on-highway handling of any vehicle running
larger tires. It works equally well on weekend trail
riders, hardcore rockcrawlers or the four wheeler with
large tires and a lift kit who rarely gets off-road but
is fighting the wheel to get into a tight parking spot.
The ROCKRAM* system is engineered for any vehicle
needing extra steering force to turn large tires or
maneuver off-road. The ROCKRAM* system increases your
steering force by 100% or more, yet still retains
excellent handling characteristics for on-road driving.
The Ram cylinder servers as an added assist to the
gearbox and as a powered steering stablizer, eliminating
the need for a conventional steering stablizer. The Ram
cylinder uses dynamic hydraulic pressure to control
front-end movement, not just cushion it. This results in
a smoother ride and increased tire life. |

ROCKRAM* - Ford
The AGR ROCKRAM* System features all the performance
upgrades included with the improved streering gearbox
and Ford Super Pump plus the addition of the ROCK RAM*
cylinder. Adding the Ram Cylinder effectively doubles
the turning force available. The ROCKRAM* makes short
work of turning oversize tires, even 44s. In addition to
doubling the turning force the Ram Cylinder becomes a
powered steering stabilizer. The ROCKRAM* cylinder holds
the tires in line, eliminating most tire shimmy and
wobble. Tests have shown that the ROCKRAM* actually
increases tire life by reducing or eliminating tire
cupping. |

Super Box - SB1 Series
This steering box is engineered to be the ultimate in
bolt-on power steering performance for those vehicles
used for more off-road than on road driving. Designed to
be the most powerful and nimble steering with the least
amount of effort, the SB1 features the largest piston
available and a special spool valve to increase turning
force. Total Bearing Control locks in the sector shaft
for smooth steering. This box combined with an AGR Super
Pump will provide the maximum available turning force in
a steering box combination. Want more power than this?
You'll need to step up to the AGR ROCKRAM* System. Short
wheel-base Jeep CJ's, TJ's and similar sized vehicles
should consider the SB2 box if driven at highway speeds. |

Super Box - SB2 Series
This box is nearly identical in design, brute force and
performance to the Super Box 1, but is designed for the
vehicle used as a daily driver. The SB2 has firmer
valving and 16/13:1 variable ratio gearing for better
handling and drivability at highway speeds. |

Super Pump
This is a bolt-on replacement for the Saginaw P-series
pump. All P-series pumps are easily identified as they
bolt inside the front face of a steel reservoir. The
Super Pump is designed and manufactured to produce the
maximum pressure and flow possible without affecting the
pump's durability. Modifications and the addition of
proprietary components produce significant increases in
flow and pressure over OEM and rebuilt auto parts store
pumps. The AGR Super Pump is HIGHLY recommended for use
with the Super Box 1 & 2 to get the most performance
possible from your steering system. |
