We call this usable power - all the way across
the power band at the speeds and in the gears where you need it.
Our system also produces a very flat torque curve. This means, once our maximum
torque is reached, torque falls off very slowly as RPM's increase toward maximum
horsepower. This gives your engine excellent pulling characteristics by keeping
torque output high all the way up the power band until maximum horsepower and
RPM is reached. (JUST IMAGINE!)
One of the most frequent complaints we hear about stock engines is slow throttle
response. Our system significantly increases throttle response right off the
bottom and all the way across the entire RPM range. You'll know it when you push
on the pedal. Improved throttle response combined with the extra power, results
in a much more enjoyable driving experience. You will be able to merge, pass,
and move away from undesirable traffic situations in ways you never thought
possible with a larger vehicle. You may be able to accelerate in up to half the
time. Your speeds under load will increase 20-35 MPH on grades of 5 to 8%.
Grades of 5% or less will no longer slow you down at all.

Superchips offers a complete line of hand-held tuners to cover most domestic cars and trucks. While we are famous for the incredible power gains (12% increase in HP on gas vehicles, up to 150HP increase on diesels), our engineers and calibrators design the products for drivability. No more downshifting on big hills, we tune throughout the powerband for consistent performance from 500 to 8,000 RPM. Diesel Exhaust System
Every Gibson Cat-Back System is performance tuned and engine matched to unleash your vehicle’s full potential. All exhaust systems are emission legal in all 50 states and do not affect vehicle warranty. They are well-suited for lowered or raised pickups and tow vehicles because the performance gains are engineered to come in at low and mid-range RPM-highway speeds. Gibson offers single, dual, split rear, super truck and dual extreme. They also offer performance headers and exhaust systems for diesels.

Standard vs. Super Duty D-Celerator Models
This test was
conducted using U.S. Gear's Standard vs. Super Duty model. Anything at 20
PSI or lower, does not provide much breaking. As shown, normal engine
operating range is between 1500 & 2000 RPM. In that range the waste-gated
Super Duty model has a clear advantage, while the orifice regulated Standard
model just hits 20 PSI at the very top of the normal operating range. This
model is most effective at a much higher RPM as
illustrated.
